Pachamama Alliance seeks a motivated and multi talented Digital Marketing Manager to play a crucial role in expanding our audience and enhancing engagement with our constituents and donors. You will be instrumental in driving our email marketing strategies and creating impactful lead generation campaigns. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about creating compelling marketing content and excels at managing multiple projects efficiently.

Pachamama Alliance is an established San Francisco-based non-profit organization with a mission to empower Indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest to preserve their lands and culture and, using insights gained from that work, to educate and inspire individuals everywhere to bring forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on the planet.

For over 25 years, Pachamama Alliance has successfully raised awareness and built a global community. This role will be crucial in supporting the ongoing efforts and future initiatives of Pachamama Alliance, contributing significantly to our mission during this pivotal time in human history.

Key Responsibilities

  • Email Campaign Management:
    • Develop and execute targeted email campaigns to engage subscribers and drive conversions, utilizing segmentation and personalized content strategies.
    • Monitor email performance metrics, adjusting strategies based on data insights to improve future campaigns.
    • Ensure all email communications adhere to brand guidelines and deliver a consistent and compelling message to the audience.
  • Landing Page Optimization:
    • Design and manage landing pages for various marketing initiatives such as events, donations, and course registrations, focusing on user experience and conversion optimization.
  • Lead Generation and Content Offers:
    • Create attractive lead magnets and content offers (e.g., ebooks, webinars) to capture new leads and expand our audience base.
    • Implement testing strategies to optimize the effectiveness of content offers in generating leads and engaging users.
  • Google Ads:
    • Manage our Google Ad Grant and optimize Google Ads campaigns to maximize ROI by targeting specific demographics and using relevant keywords.
    • Analyze campaign performance data to adjust bids, ads, and landing pages to achieve better results.
    • Stay updated with the latest Google Ads tools and best practices to ensure cutting-edge campaign management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in email marketing and lead generation, preferably in the non-profit industry.
  • Strong understanding of database management, segmentation, and email marketing principles.
  • Experience with email automation tools (e.g., MailChimp, HubSpot preferred) and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Proficient in designing and managing landing pages and conversion strategies.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide insights on campaign performance.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

Compensation and Benefits

This position is located in the Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco. Salary range is $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience plus generous vacation (accrues 20 days annually in addition to holidays, starting the first year) and health and dental benefits.

Employees receive a complimentary pass to the PresidiGo Shuttle that has stops at the SF Transit Terminal, Embarcadero, and others in route to the Presidio.
