If you’ve ever heard the term “Spaceship Earth,” then you’ve likely encountered the ideas of R. Buckminster “Bucky” Fuller, who used the term to emphasize that ensuring the future of humankind is an all or nothing proposition: either all of us will live and thrive or none of us will.
Bucky’s radical, visionary ideas about the power of human creativity and moving from a “Your OR Me” world to a “You AND Me” world were a huge influence on Pachamama Alliance co-founder Lynne Twist, as well as our Awakening the Dreamer Symposium and other transformative workshops.
The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is currently showing an exhibit focused on the impact of Bucky’s ideas on the San Francisco Bay Area. If you’re in the area between now and July 29th, check it out and get inspired.
Nature is trying very hard to make us succeed, but Nature does not depend on us. We are not the only experiment.
