Mindvalley’s mission is to transform 500 million lives by 2020 by bringing together marketing and technology to spread enlightened ideas. This is done by working with authors, thinkers, and leaders who have pioneered new ways of doing traditional things: parenting, entrepreneurship, spiritual growth, self-development and more. People who strive to make a positive difference in themselves and in their societies.
The result is a new kind of publishing company; one that merges software, mixed media, video, mobile apps and social networks to put authors in the personal development movement in front of the internet generation while bypassing traditional media like printed books.
More recently, they have created a not-for-profit cause called Awesomeness Fest, an annual event held in paradise locations like Hawaii or Costa Rica, bringing together people who are by nature, driven to change the world. Entrepreneurs, authors, teachers, artists and visionaries all come together to speak, network, connect and share ideas on personal growth and contribution. All proceeds are donated to charitable causes, like The Pachamama Alliance.
