Our Community Story
The precursor of the present foundation and community has started in 2002, where several of the founder of Eco Learning Camp foundation (parents, educators, and professionals, who feel responsible for the growth of their children) started a place for children to learn and play in a open natural playground equipped with farming area and some animals like chicken, rabbit, and birds. Educational programs for visitors are always in a form of outdoor activity that integrate fun science, knowledge about nature and games that leads to values education.
Since 2014, Eco Learning Camp foundation is located at a more permanent site, Eco Camp, in northern Bandung, next to the Djuanda Grand Forest Park.
Our very near upcoming event is 2 August 2015 when we will facilitate an ATD symposium for 21 coordinators of Earth Hour from 11 cities in Indonesia organized by WWF Indonesia.
