Who We Are and What We Do

Out Community is part of the HuaTao Education & Training, which is the educational platform of HuaTao Ecovillage. We are actively holding Awakening the Dreamer Symposiums both in Beijing and Chengdu(Sichuan Province).

Our Mission

We hold dearly the same purpose as the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium:
“Bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, socially just?spiritually fulfilling, human presence on this planet.”

The Areas This Community Includes

We are thrilled to be present in different geographic areas, including: Beijing, Chengdu(Sichuan Province), Shenyang (Liaoning Province), Shanghai, Chongqing, Xi’an (Shanxi Province), Lijiang (Yunnan Province), Zhuzhou (Hunan Province), Zhuhai (Guangdong Province), Hangzhou (Zhejiang Province), and we continue to expand.

Our Community Story

HuaTao Pachamama Community was launched because of Alice Wang and Woody Cui, who experienced their first Awakening the Dreamer Symposium in the Findhorn and hosted by the Pachamama Alliance Community in Scotland at the end of 2014. After that, their next natural step was to introduce the Pachamama Alliance to China. Then, their passion drove them to bring the Symposium Facilitator Training to Beijing, which was the beginning of this Community.  To this day, we have trained almost 100 Symposium Facilitators and more than 700 people have joined our Community.

Our Community Activities

We have a HuaTao Pachamama community both online and offline. We use the application WeChat to share and exchange ideas with those who have participated in Awakening the Dreamer Symposiums. We also have an off-line discussion for Facilitator groups both in Beijing and Chengdu. Not only do we exchange ideas on how to conduct  good Symposiums, but we also discuss how to reach out to other communities and invite more people to get involved with game-changing initiatives.

Additional Information

We usually invite those interested in this community to join the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium first. Then, we invite participants to join the HuaTao Pachamama Community on WeChat, to then invite them to take further steps by joining the facilitator training and taking on game changing initiatives.
