Join our Volunteer Community!
We seek enthusiastic and committed partners to work with in
realizing our organizational goals while providing opportunities for
volunteers and interns to contribute in deep and fulfilling ways, become part of our community, grow and
develop professionally and personally and participate in bringing forth the New Dream.
There are a variety of positions and projects available including
short-term projects, internships and special events. Some of our
projects require previous background or experience but most can be
accomplished with some basic skills. We will provide orientation,
support and some training depending on the project.

Volunteering in Ecuador
We currently have opportunities available to teach English to the Achuar in Ecuador. You must have intermediate skills in Spanish and have some teaching experience. For more information please contact Lindsay Dyson and she will follow up with you and connect you with the English Program Coordinator in Ecuador.
Do you live outside the Bay Area?
Although many of our volunteer opportunities are based in our San
Francisco office, there are ways to get involved on some projects remotely. These might include research and website support.
The best way to get involved and participate is by joining the Awakening the Dreamer Initiative and sharing the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium in your community. We
recommend that you see if there is an Awakening the Dreamer community
in your area by going to the Awakening the Dreamer Community Information Page.
If there is not a contact person in your area, there may be other
Awakening the Dreamer Facilitators or Hosts you can connect with. You can email support@pachamama.org and someone will follow up with you to assist you with connecting to the closest Facilitators in your area.
