About Russell:

Russell Faure-Brac is a peace researcher and advocate.  He formerly worked at Stanford Research Institute analyzing weapon systems before resigning his position in protest of the Vietnam War. The events of 9/11 reawakened his interest in peace, and after ten years of study, he concluded that peace is possible. He has laid out a path on how to get there in his recently published book Transition to Peace, A Defense Engineer’s Search for an Alternative to War. He also hosts the KWMR-FM radio show Transition to Peace, blogs on his website, and speaks to peace and civic groups across the country. He has an MS degree from Stanford University in Engineering Economics.
