The Awakening the Dreamer initiative offers transformational workshop experiences around the world. As a participant, you will “wake up” to both what is at stake and what is possible at this moment in history, and discover your unique role in creating a new future.

To truly ensure that the indigenous people of the Amazon retain their rightful custodianship of their rainforest lands for the benefit of all humanity, the Achuar requested that we work to shift the so-called “modern” worldview that places short-term economic gain over the long-term interests of people and planet.

The Awakening the Dreamer initiative is our answer to that request.

Inviting People to Create a New Worldview

Awakening the Dreamer’s signature workshop, the Symposium, is a valuable and insightful tool for seeing how our modern worldview and economic and political systems are preventing us from creating the world in which we want to live.

Once we come to terms with that reality, we can begin to appreciate the extraordinary possibilities emerging at this time in history, and the critical role we as individuals play in turning things around. You will try on a new way of looking at the world, imagining new possibilities for yourself and connecting with like-minded people.

A Global Community Taking a Stand Together

Today, more than 3,500 volunteers have delivered the Symposium to hundreds of thousands of people in over 60 countries and in at least 13 languages. They are a passionate and growing community of people taking a stand for a just, thriving and sustainable world now.
