This online festival is an invitation for people everywhere to use their camera or cell phone to tell the world a story about the ideas, people, projects, technologies and ways of living that could shift our direction toward a more positive future.

Generating a Positive Vision for Our Shared Future

In its first year, the Festival exceeded all expectations. Filmmakers from 44 countries entered 317 visionary short films, and our global online community cast over 14,000 votes to select five of the seven prize-winning films.

As part of their prizes, the two grand award winners each received a trip to Ecuador with Pachamama Journeys, reinforcing their commitment to film as a tool for global transformation.

Each of the films submitted to the Festival is part of a set of strong, eloquent, compassionate solutions to the many challenges facing humanity, the animal kingdom, and all ecosystems on our shared planet.
