Why I'm a Pachamama Alliance Facilitator

I attended ATD at Powershift in 2009  and it was awesome-- we decided to start presenting that day! Have now done more than 40 symposia and I still love doing them!

Events I've hosted as a facilitator:

  • I hosted a Symposium in Westminster on January 3, 2014

If I could change the world

I would replace love for money and things with love for all living things, including but not limited to our fellow human beings.

This is who inspires me

Wow, that's a tough one. I have met and spent time with Julia Butterfly Hill- she is definitely up there. Her will to perservere in spite of very short odds, lonliness and very tough living conditions was amazing!

Experiences I'm proud of

I conceived of the original idea behind Frostburg Grows- a new greenhouse training center on an old strip mine in a high poverty area of western Maryland. This project will provide high quality local food, train others to grow food, and also have lots of environmental benefits like reducing Acid Mine Drainage, flooding, and GHGs. We are using tons of re-purposed materials too!

What I'm passionate about

I care to leave the world a better place and I want others to do so as well. One of the things I am most passionate about is providing leadership training to youth so they can hit the ground running.
