Since its origins, The Pachamama Alliance has succeeded at taking on incredible challenges: from partnering with indigenous peoples in Ecuador's Amazon to preserve their lands and cultures, to committing to take their message "back home" to awaken the modern world onto a sustainable path with wide open hearts.
These challenges have shaped who we are at every single juncture, un-tapping great power to run after what we believe in, and create the world we all want. The Pachamama Spring Challenge is an opportunity for you to tap into that source of power, and join us in pursuing:
New oil concessions are scheduled for the fall, so our campaign to halt oil development in Ecuador’s Amazon is a top priority in 2013. Your support helps us stand with indigenous leaders advocating for their culture, land, and the right of future generations to have access to a thriving ecosystem. Join us in urging the Government of Ecuador to set an international precedent by choosing a sustainable path.
Our Educational Programs are expanding to create a pathway for people to engage as global citizens of our planet. Your support will help us launch a new online speakers’ series, create new partnerships that will expand our impact, and develop new ways for individuals and communities to engage, online and in-person.
