About Pachamama Alliance Community Events
Community events are gatherings held by Pachamama Alliance Communities, including monthly meetings, seasonal ceremonies, discussion groups and other special events.
The Southern Oregon Pachamama Alliance Our Core Team is launching an 8-week “Taste of Game Changer Intensive” series on Tuesday evenings this fall, and we’re inviting you to join us in creating something new. Our goal is to broaden the circle of people engaged with the possibility of co-creating a new dream.
“Taste of Game Changer Intensive” series
Tuesday evenings, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
October 10 through November 28
Bellview Grange, 1050 Tolman Creek Rd, Ashland
This series will be a lively, simplified, drop-in, mini version of the Game Changer Intensive, an 8-week online course developed by the Pachamama Alliance. Facilitated in person each week by GCI graduates, each session will include:
• A poem, reading or song to open and close sacred space
• Viewing favorite video from that week’s module
• Circling up for group discussion
• Get moving with a game, song, hula hoops or ???
• Enjoying some tasty treats
Attending all 8 sessions is not a requirement, but it certainly is an option. We want to see these gatherings grow each week as we introduce more and more neighbors and friends to the real possibility of a new dream... and we would LOVE to have you join us!
Here are the topics for each week:
Week 1 Oct 10 #1 Introduction to Game Changing
Week 2 Oct 17 #2 The Power of Story
Week 3 Oct 24 #3 Evolutionary Activism
Week 4 Oct 31 #4 A Case for Grounded Optimism
Week 5 Nov 7 #5 The Rigged Game
Week 6 Nov14 #6 Game Changing Movements: Democracy
Week 7 Nov21 #7 Game Changing Movements: Climate Change
Week 8 Nov28 #8 Going Forth
Sign up for the whole series, of drop-in for as many sessions as you like. Let’s make this a brilliant Fall for Southern Oregon.
This 8 week series (each Tuesday evening from Oct 10 through Nov 28) is at the Bellview Grange, just below Siskiyou Blvd., in front of Bellview Elementary School.
