How we can [actually] change the world
We are excited to announce that our transformative educational programs, including The Awakening The Dreamer Symposium, are now a part of Up to Us – our new educational pathway designed to inspire and educate a critical mass of conscious, committed people working together to bring forth a just, thriving and sustainable future.
The Pachamama Alliance and its workshops were inspired by a request from our indigenous partners who issued a call to “change the dream of the modern world” and transform the culture of over-consumption driving the destruction of the rainforest.
In response, we launched the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium in 2005 – a half-day transformative journey that educates people on the challenges and possibilities of this moment in time.
Now, in the Fall of 2013, we are excited to introduce our community to Up to Us – a transformative pathway that unleashes our power as global citizens.
Up to Us builds on the international success of the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium by providing people a continued pathway of engagement to dive more deeply into the issues and possibilities presented in the Symposium.
The Awakening the Dreamer Symposium — a half-day transformative journey that educates people on the challenges and possibilities of this moment in time.
Game Changer Intensive — an interactive, online course to transform the way you relate to the world and prepare you to take action. The Intensive is about both personal and planetary transformation: who we need to be and what we need to do at this momentous time in human history.
Action Circles — small groups of people committed to living the change they would like to see in the world. Members meet regularly to educate themselves on social change issues and other topics of interest, connect with one another, and work to take action together.
Game Changing Movements — Pachamama Alliance partner organizations that work to address the root causes of two of the most pressing issues of our time: democracy and climate change.
Pass it On — Pass It On is a community of leaders actively engaged in delivering Symposiums, hosting Circles, organizing their community, and reaching out to local media.
If you’re a Symposium Facilitator, everything for you is exactly the same. You still access your events through the Facilitator Hub, and you still have access to all the support you’ve always had. The only difference is that the Symposium is now part of a larger pathway, and your guests will register through the Up to Us website. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
