The Awakening the Dreamer Symposium is an interactive, multimedia experience that moves participants out of despair and frustration and into an optimism grounded in action.
Whether a large or small event, sharing the Symposium live with a group of like-minded individuals from your community builds relationships and deepens your understanding of Symposium material.
A Guided Experience
Guiding you through every live event will be one or more volunteer Facilitators from our growing global network.
Symposium Facilitators are working professionals, retirees, college students, and community organizers. They come from a variety of moral traditions and hold a diversity of political beliefs.
What they have in common is their concern for the wellbeing of humanity, and the belief that the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium empowers participants to take part in turning the tide for the future.
What Else to Expect
The Symposium is designed as a four-hour experience, though Facilitators often lengthen or shorten the Symposium to reach their audience most powerfully.
The cost of each Symposium is kept as low as possible; however, you may be asked for a “suggested donation,” which typically covers the costs of refreshments or other materials provided for participants.

On the events map, you’ll find live Symposiums in your area, with all event details listed including date, time, location, cost and contact information.
By registering for a Symposium, you will not be asked to enroll friends or family, or give out personal information. You are asked only to come to your Symposium with an open mind and a willingness to bring a fresh perspective to the way you see the world.
