What Is Facilitator Training?
As the message of justice, sustainability, and fulfillment spreads through the world, it needs conscientious leaders to carry it forth.
The Facilitator Training is a multi-day training designed to develop your transformational leadership skills and give you the resources to facilitate Symposiums and Getting into Action Workshops throughout your communities.
The Training can be transformational in itself, another step on your personal journey as an agent of change. As a participant, you will step out from Facilitator Training with an enhanced realization of your capability to lead powerful and positive transformation in society.
The Training is also an opportunity to generally improve facilitation and presentation skills, connect with others in the training group, learn more about the structures of injustice, and explore tools to create change within your community.
What To Expect
Trainings are usually 2-3 days long at a specific venue, with a small group of participants who are usually from the local area. Many Training participants have already experienced the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium and/or Getting into Action Workshop first, however this is not required.
Under the care and guidance of Awakening the Dreamer Training Leaders, participants move through engaging exercises, activities, and guided reflection that call on them to understand the injustices of our age, and how they can lead others to recognize these injustices and create change.
About Training Leaders
Trainings are led by veteran Facilitators with wide-ranging experience in social and environmental justice work and personal development practice. These individuals act as guides, helping Training participants cultivate their inherent wisdom, talents, and passions for justice and sustainability.
