Who We Are and What We Do

For the Maryland Community, our focus is around the preservation and exploration of the environment, with sustainability and Leave-No-Trace as our most important strategies. One of our facilitators has helped present over 25 Symposia in English around the state of Maryland, most notably with one at Frostburg State University and Johns Hopkins University.

Our community, which is mainly comprised of the members of Venturing Crew 202, a co-ed boy scout group, is very charismatic and adventurous. Many of the members have served as presenters for the symposium multiple times, and have grown to love the symposium. -To expand our connections as Venturing Crew 202 and teach others to be more aware of the constantly changing environment around them.
