Who We Are and What We Do
We began our community in April 2013 with our introductory Symposium for a small group of friends and family. We are interested in reaching out to diverse groups thoughout Northern Arizona and using Pachamama's work to fuel connection, community, and inspiration to change the dream of the modern world.
We are a small (but growing) group who are committed to creating an environmentally sustainable, socially just, and spiritually fulfilled human presence in Flagstaff and worldwide. We actively share, promote, and dream the Pachamama Alliance vision for a healthy Mother Earth, for all species, for all time. Our intention is to use our creativity and innovation to offer the Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium to the community of Flagstaff, including nonprofits, parent, university, and youth groups to generate inspiration, ideas, and connection that builds upon and amplifies the incredible work that is already being done in our community and worldwide.
The Areas This Community Includes
This community is located in Flagstaff and is open to any interested people or groups throughout Northern Arizona.
Our Community Story
This community was founded in early 2013 by two sisters-in-law who resonated with the unique interconnectedness of Pachamama's work. We wanted to provide the resources and inspiration of this incredible movement to our community so we were trained as Facilitators for the Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream symposium. We hope to grow this community into a diverse and robust network of people to collectively stay awake and change the dream to one of justice, peace, sustainability, and respect for all.
Our Community Activities
Our intention is to offer the Symposium multiple times a year in Flagstaff, collaborate with other groups, help people share the Pachamama message and materials with their own groups, and reach out to diverse populations. Please email both of the coordinators for details about our community activities.
