The Drawdown Initiative is a series of workshops that supports you in finding your unique contribution to reversing global warming.
Project Drawdown, an international coalition of more than 200 researchers and other experts, identified and presented the 80 most substantive solutions to global warming.
Founded by author, environmentalist, and entrepreneur Paul Hawken, the group revealed their extraordinary findings: that it is possible not just to slow global warming, but to actually begin reversing it by 2050. In the video below, Hawken explains “drawdown” and how we can reverse global warming.
Inspired by this revolutionary study, Pachamama Alliance created a series of workshops to support you in getting into action to reverse global warming in your local community. There are currently three offerings.
Reversing Global Warming is a 90-minute, self-guided online course where you’ll discover 100 already existing solutions that together can reverse global warming, and how you can get involved.
Reversing Global Warming: Introduction to Drawdown is a 2-hour in-person workshop that invites you to see both the possibility of reversing global warming and that you have an important role to play in that process.
Drawdown Solutions: Getting into Action is a 5-session workshop that supports you in finding your unique contribution to reversing global warming and getting into action with a community of like-minded individuals.
These vibrant workshops bring people together as a community to address local and national global warming solutions.
When we come together as a human family, anything and everything is possible!
