About Pachamama Alliance Community Events
Community events are gatherings held by Pachamama Alliance Communities, including monthly meetings, seasonal ceremonies, discussion groups and other special events.
Pachamama Alliance is piloting a new educational program, and you are invited to be one of the first to experience it!
The Pachamama Alliance Introduction to Drawdown is an informal, inspiring educational experience that invites you to transform your relationship to global warming.
Through videos and group activities, you’ll learn about the latest research from Paul Hawken's Project Drawdown on how it is possible to actually reverse global warming.
We’ll talk briefly about the top 80 solutions identified to reduce atmospheric greenhouse gases and how they fit together to form a comprehensive plan to reverse global warming by 2050.
We’ll also see how the Drawdown research enables us to reframe our relationship with global warming from one of hopelessness and despair towards one of optimism and engagement.
Participants will be invited to sign up for the follow-on 4-sesion Pachamama Alliance Drawdown Course for those who are ready to get to work on reversing Global Warming.
This event will take place in the Pachamama Alliance offices in the Presidio.
The street address points to the back of the building, which will be open for the event. Parking is available in a lot on the other side of the building, which is accessible from Edie Road.
